Customer Experience in a nutshell: That was the 10th apollon Innovation Day!
Host apollon welcomed decision makers from industry and trade on September 14, 2022 at the Porsche Museum
On September 14, 2022, apollon, leading software provider for marketing automation and product data communication, hosted its tenth in-house event around marketing and e-commerce. Representatives from companies, agencies and consulting firms were able to exchange ideas exclusively on the topic of customer experience. The focus was particularly on the holistic consideration of the customer experience. In addition to the challenges and possible solutions, space was also created for discussions. Technical presentations by keynote speakers, best-practice examples and product innovations from our own company formed an ideal basis for this.
The 10th apollon Innovation Day started with a short introduction by apollon CEO Norbert Weckerle. Martin Groß-Albenhausen, Deputy Managing Director of bevh, then led the day’s proceedings. The first presentation was given by trend and futurologist Oliver Leisse. In his gripping keynote address, “Customer Experience: The 4 Opportunities for the Future,” he inspired guests with an excellent mix of current events and insights, including their implications for the future. Gerd Glaser, Head of Customer Success at CI HUB, then took over. His practical presentation picked up on the topic of data. He demonstrated how data managed in Online Media Net can be accessed and transferred directly into other programs such as Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint or WordPress.
Gerd Glaser’s presentation was followed by Johannes Haas, authorized signatory and Director Consulting at apollon. Due to illness, Haas took over the presentation from Camuran Veli, IT project manager at Arnulf Betzold. He reported on behalf of Camuran Veli why perfect images are part of a customer experience for Betzold.
From images, it went on to e-commerce. Isabel Haas, Head of Online Marketing/E-Commerce at Hofmeister and Marcel Bewersdorf, Managing Partner at HELMES BEWERSDORF shared their project experience in the realignment of the e-commerce strategy at the southern German furniture supplier Hofmeister.
After a power break Tobias Marks, CCO at apollon, took over. He complemented Oliver Leisse’s keynote with the practical part and showed, among other things, which tools are necessary to implement a perfect customer experience. This was immediately followed by Matthias Dannecker, Director Professional Services at apollon. In his best practice, he presented three customer examples that live customer enthusiasm already in the conversion phase and were successfully implemented with Online Media Net. He referred to customer solutions for the companies HELLMUT RUCK, Mercedes Benz as well as Porsche.
Also this year the innovations in Online Media Net could not be missed. Norbert Weckerle, CEO at apollon, presented these based on the current OMN roadmap for 2022/2023. Jutta Kleinschmidt made the final statement. The racing driver, physicist and book author addressed the topic of challenge in her keynote address. With her engaging manner and examples from her life, she inspired the guests and presents why challenge is the cornerstone to success.
Norbert Weckerle, CEO at apollon: “Thank you very much for sharing this special day with us. We had expected positive feedback, but were nevertheless very surprised at the end how overwhelmed our guests were. From the location, to the topics, to the speakers, everything had been just right. Thank you again for your words of praise.”
Tobias Marks, CCO at apollon: “A very special thanks from us to Martin Groß-Albenhausen, who guided us so confidently through this extremely exciting day, and to our first-class speakers for their constructive and interesting contributions. And, of course, a very special thank you to everyone who helped prepare this event – you did a great job!”
