Initial situation
A shop that no longer fitted the ERP

allstar was founded in 1964 by Johanna Messemer and her son Roland. Just one year later, the company equipped fencers for the world championships for the first time, and in 1968 allstar became the official supplier of the German Olympic team. At the 1978 World Fencing Championships in Hamburg, more than 95 percent of the finalists competed in allstar gear. allstar equips the German national team and is an official supplier and partner of the International Fencing Federation (FIE).
The reason for the relaunch was technical: the previous online shop was no longer compatible with the new version of the ERP system SAP Business One. The focus was therefore not on the website design but primarily on the online shop.

Quality, innovation and service guide everything allstar does – and the new presence was meant to reflect these values. Because Shopware allows business models to be designed individually, echolot.Group was able to develop the design entirely in allstar’s spirit. echolot.Group and apollon then refined and approved the draft together.
Website and Shopware 6
apollon programmed the new website and set up Shopware 6 in parallel.
Custom shop design
The standard Shopware design was rebuilt and tailored to allstar’s requirements and brand.
Direct SAP connection
Shopware 6 is connected directly to SAP Business One. The interface supplies the shop with product information, prices and the settings for order notes on individual items, among other things.
Joint pilot project
allstar, echolot.Group and apollon delivered the project in 2020 as a pilot project.
