Dear colleagues,
Consumers today use a variety of channels in parallel and complementary ways – which is one of the reasons you chose OMN. Beyond product content, however, there is a multitude of other information situations and forms of communication that all together form the experience that the customer associates with his retailer. This holistic customer experience is what apollon Innovation Day 2022 is all about.
Today, we talk about „customer experience“ or CX for short at this point. Offering information about products and services adequately in every relevant marketing channel is only one part of it. In addition to communication at the point of sale, the experience also includes the time it takes for an e-mail to be answered, the filler material in the box, and especially the behavior in the event of a service call.
CXM – Customer Experience Management – is therefore more than just the control of multichannel or crosschannel marketing. To really start from pole position, this discipline first defines the touchpoints and situations in which the customer encounters the company. CXM maps the „user journey“ not of an abstract or arbitrary shopper, but of precisely described personas who approach the retailer in very different ways. At this point,
„PERSONA-lization“ goes far beyond the tried and tested use of name, address and transaction history.
There is no company today that cannot offer such „unique“ customer experiences. However, the diversity can be overwhelming, because it requires excellence in the design of each individual interaction and also coordination among the various channels. Nevertheless, customer experience management is also moving from freestyle to mandatory for your company. Just as in marketing the many little „yes“ words lead to conversion, the many „yeses“ at every touchpoint ensure customer loyalty.

Our Motto
Our motto this year is „Customer Experience: The Pole Position in Marketing“. Therefore, at the 10th apollon Innovation Day everything revolves around Customer Experience, CX for short. In gripping presentations of theory and practice, we would like to explain to our visitors why the customer experience is essential today and how it can be implemented and maintained.
It is important to us to highlight all the experiences of a customer during his customer journey at the various touchpoints. Therefore, strategies and measures must not be missing in the customer experience. We show how new customers as well as existing customers can be positively influenced, because these unforgettable customer experiences are crucial for sustainable growth and the economic success of companies today. The appropriate tools for processes, data and content complete our motto as well as very concrete customer examples, which show as a best case the way from traditional marketing to a lived excellent customer experience management.
The right customer experience is the key to perfecting the dialog with customers!

Fabian Traub
Fabian Traub has turned his hobby into his profession - sports of all kinds and a love of cars. He studied Sports Economics at the University of Bayreuth and started his professional career at Porsche AG in 2012 as Project Manager CRM. Today, Fabian is Manager Indirect Sales & Loyalty and works in a great team on the continuous optimization of customer journeys: from lead to buyer and from owner to satisfied repeat buyer with the goal of always offering customers a unique buying and ownership experience, meeting customer needs and exceeding them again and again. His career highlight includes project managing the global down payment program for the launch of the first all-electric Porsche, the Taycan. In day-to-day business, he appreciates the daily contact with colleagues around the world and the insight this gives him into different cultures, behaviors and characters.

Camuran Veli
Camuran Veli joined Arnulf Betzold GmbH, the leading specialist mail order company for teaching materials, teacher supplies, and school and kindergarten equipment, in 2021. He is an IT project manager at Betzold. His focus includes projects in the field of digitalization and its optimization.
