Marstall: brand, product range and feed guidance in one shop.
Marstall · current shop view, September 2026
A shop for a product range that needs guidance: at Marstall, Shopware development combines a distinctive brand experience with feed selection features. The project works without OMN.
The task
The product range should reflect the brand and be easy for customers to understand. Alongside purchasing, this calls for guidance through product lines, information and support with selection.
Custom brand design
apollon developed a dedicated Shopware theme for Marstall. Fonts, colours, layout and navigation follow the brand identity. Mobile presentation is also developed further as part of the project.
A custom feed finder
A custom-built feed finder guides users through several selection steps and matches suitable products. Questions, options and product assignments can be managed in the shop administration.
Ongoing development
Project work also includes adapting existing features, such as slider layouts on desktop and mobile and product searches within the feed finder. This adapts the shop to specific requirements arising from use.
Marstall shows how an independent Shopware project can combine brand design and custom functionality. OMN is not a prerequisite.
Compass & SEALAND24: renew technology and design together.
Watersports and clothing, two brands and 15 online shops: the move from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6 was combined with a redesign.
Starting point
The existing shop landscape needed improvements in loading times and performance. Shopware 5 also needed to be replaced. An existing relationship with apollon and an established PIM formed the project context.
Task and implementation
The design was renewed alongside the technology. Marketing, purchasing, IT and customer service were involved. The published story lists Shopware plug-ins and integration with PIM and ERP as project components.
Documented result
The project story states a start in December 2022 and launch in autumn 2023. All 15 shops were moved to Shopware 6. The customer highlights being able to manage content and develop parts of the shop independently.
Relevance to your plans
A relaunch involves more than data migration. Storefronts, integrations and ongoing maintenance by your team need to be planned together. OMN was part of the existing setup here; that does not make it a prerequisite for other migration projects.

EFALOCK: from a data project to a shop for business customers.
The original commission focused on central product data and media management. The B2B shop was added as a separate decision.
Starting point
EFALOCK maintained product information in Excel and used it for catalogues and flyers. The published project account describes around 15,000 SKUs and 20,000 assets, with considerable manual effort in data maintenance and layout creation.
Task and implementation
PIM, DAM and supplying additional channels were the initial focus. According to the customer statement, EFALOCK subsequently commissioned apollon to create an online shop for business customers as well.
Documented result
The story describes central product and media management with OMN and automated delivery to marketing materials and channels. The additional B2B shop is confirmed by the customer statement.
Relevance to your plans
The project shows a possible expansion path for OMN customers. The shop was a separate commission. Product information management can be organised first, with a further sales channel added later when needed.

HELLMUT RUCK: a shop with business-specific requirements.
A new e-commerce presence needed to combine mobile use, verification of registered customers and differentiated pricing logic.
Starting point
The published customer story lists a new e-commerce presence, enrichment of existing item master data and delivery to multiple channels as requirements.
Task and implementation
Shopware was connected to OMN. The source describes accreditation checks and complex price and discount tiers as specific shop features. OMN supplies other channels alongside the shop.
Documented result
The story at the time reports implementation within four months. This is a historical project figure, not a commitment for new projects. It describes combining data delivery with business-specific purchasing functions.
Relevance to your plans
B2B projects require customer verification, pricing and data ownership to be considered together. Your processes determine which features your shop needs and which system supplies them.

Marstall represents a shop project without OMN. Compass, EFALOCK and RUCK illustrate different projects involving OMN. Your requirements are what matters: Shopware and OMN remain independent offerings that can work together when needed.
