Our starting point
Already using a PIM? We review its interfaces and your shop requirements. Looking to introduce central data management? OMN may be a suitable addition. A PIM implementation is a separate project, not a prerequisite for your Shopware shop.
One option: our OMN platform
| Content | Prepare in OMN | Map in Shopware |
|---|---|---|
| Products & variants | Attributes, units and relationships | Products, properties and variants |
| Text & translations | Languages, markets and approvals | Language versions and sales channels |
| Images & documents | Media and product assignments | Product gallery and downloads |
| Product ranges & categories | Channel-specific selection | Shop structure and categories |
Collaboration
A new variant model affects more than data exports. It changes filters, selection and presentation in your shop.
That is why we coordinate PIM, middleware and shop, including custom fields, delta exports, logging and retries of failed transfers.
Transfers and error handlingPreparation
Which products, attributes, variants and relationships need to be represented?
Which ranges and content are needed in which markets?
Which information comes from ERP, PIM and DAM? Who approves it?
Which sample products will we use to check completeness and presentation?
Good to know
No. We assess connecting your existing PIM based on its interfaces and your data model. OMN is one possible platform, whose implementation we can discuss separately if needed.
No. Product content and commercial data serve different purposes. Both data flows are coordinated.
Sample products with variants, images and languages, plus documentation of available interfaces. Together, we clarify required fields, approvals and sales channel mappings.
Project evidence
EFALOCK initially sought PIM and DAM. According to the published customer statement, the B2B shop was commissioned separately afterwards. The example illustrates adding a sales channel to product data management as an option.
