OMN and CI HUB
Use media from OMN directly in supported Adobe and Microsoft applications. The OMN CI HUB Connector connects asset management with the tools in which content is used.
From your DAM to your application
OMN documentation lists applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and InCopy, as well as Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Users access their OMN assets from these desktop applications.
In everyday work, this removes the separate step of downloading an image locally and then moving the file. OMN remains the starting point for media management.
For design and communication
A design team uses product images in a catalogue layout. A sales team needs media for a presentation. Both work in their respective applications, using centrally managed assets from OMN DAM.
CI HUB extends access to media. It replaces neither product-data maintenance in PIM nor publication planning in Channel Management.
Check prerequisites before deployment
Documentation identifies OMN 5.11 as the first supported version. For a current deployment, we check the actual OMN version, target application and version, connector variant and required licences. User access must also fit the access-control design.
