apollon expands management

APOLLON GROWTH: FIVE MANAGERS EXPAND EXISTING MANAGEMENT

apollon, leading software provider for marketing automation and product data communication, has appointed five executives to the extended management board as of 01 January 2020. The reinforcement of the management of apollon GmbH+Co KG comes from within the company. The new members are, besides the authorized signatories Johannes Haas and Oliver Baum, from now on Benjamin Steinbach, Christian Bodem, Matthias Stäcker, Tobias Marks and Xuetao Li.

 

The new members
Benjamin Steinbach (38), is a certified project manager (GPM/IPMA Level C) and studied media development and computer science. Before joining apollon in 2013, he worked as a department manager for the e-commerce giant Amazon, among others. Steinbach manages international accounts and is responsible for the implementation of online media net projects from different industries.

When apollon GmbH+Co. KG was founded in 2015, Christian Bodem (36) took over as team leader in the area of „Online Mobile Services (OMS)“, focusing on the retail, industry and publishing sectors. As a further member of the management team, Bodem will in future be responsible for the eCommerce and mobile business as business unit manager.

Matthias Stäcker (34), Senior Associate Project Development and member of the apollon management board, has assumed responsibility for the Cross Media Publishing division. He supports well-known customers from the industrial and automotive sector in consulting, conception, implementation and optimization of highly automated advertising media productions with Online Media Net (OMN).

Tobias Marks (37), Director Sales, studied business administration in Stuttgart, Berlin and Brasilia and during this time completed internships in various companies in the IT sector. After graduating in 2012, he worked in various positions at Meyle+Müller and apollon. Today Tobias Marks is Director Sales and as a new member of the management board he will be responsible for sales and marketing at apollon.

Xuetao Li (40), graduated in 2006 with a degree in computer science from Karlsruhe. Since then he is active in consulting and realization of complex software solutions for well-known customers. With his appointment to the management board, Li will be responsible for the technological orientation of the product and project development of apollon as Enterprise Architect/Solution Designer.

The previous authorized signatories
The new members of the management team are now working in the management team with the two authorized signatories Johannes Haas and Oliver Baum.

Johannes Haas (59), authorized signatory and Director Consulting, is a graduate engineer (FH) for printing technology. Since his studies at the end of the 1980s and the introduction of desktop publishing solutions in media production, Haas has been intensively involved in IT projects. At apollon Haas is responsible for consulting and the introduction of the standard software solution „Online Media Net“ for international enterprise customers.

Oliver Baum (45), authorized signatory and Director OMN Product, has been in charge of the OMN product area since 2019. The trained media operator studied information technology and has held various positions within the company since 2001. Oliver Baum was significantly involved in the development of the standard software solution „Online Media Net“. In 2007 Baum was awarded the title of Certified Project Management Associate by the German Association for Project Management.

All of the above-mentioned executives will act in addition to the apollon management team with Norbert Weckerle and Eugen Müller. Norbert Weckerle, managing partner of apollon, comments: „With the expansion of the management board, we are broadening our decision-making structures and at the same time accelerating the decision-making processes. In this way, we want to set up our business model in a future-oriented manner and strategically develop the organization. I am pleased about the active support and the clear commitment of the members to apollon. I am convinced that the expansion of the management board will create even more stable structures for apollon in the future.
