apollon strengthens management and sales

apollon, leading software provider for marketing automation and product data communication, expands its management team: Tobias Marks will be appointed Managing Director as of March 1, 2021.

Tobias Marks has been on board since apollon was founded in 2015 and, after holding various positions in the company, was most recently responsible for sales and marketing. In addition, he has also been a shareholder in apollon GmbH since January 1, 2020. With his appointment, Tobias Marks takes over the newly created management departments Sales and Marketing in the function of Managing Partner and CCO (Chief Customer Officer). Norbert Weckerle, who has been leading apollon as managing partner and CEO since its foundation, is looking forward to the cooperation: „It is great that we can lead apollon’s fortunes into the strategically important next phase as a strong team in the future.“

Eugen Müller, owner and CEO of the parent company Meyle+Müller: „With the managing directors Norbert Weckerle and Tobias Marks, we can look to the future of apollon with great optimism. We are thus also consistently pursuing the strategy of developing the Meyle+Müller Group into a group of highly specialized, owner-managed companies.“

In the course of his appointment to the management, Tobias Marks is also further expanding the sales area of apollon. Also on March 1, 2021, Pablo Kern, until then Senior Director Sales and authorized signatory at Meyle+Müller, will move within the group and strengthen the apollon sales team in the future. Pablo Kern has been active in the M+M Group since 2008 and has looked after significant customers and major new customer projects in the furniture, automotive and industrial sectors – many of which have already involved apollon. „I am pleased that with Pablo Kern we can further develop an accomplished sales expert of the M+M Group and use him even more in the area of digitalization. A step that will benefit everyone involved – especially our customers,“ says Tobias Marks.
