apollon develops two plug-ins for Shopware 6
apollon, leading software provider for marketing automation and product data communication, has developed two new plug-ins for the Shopware store system: Promotional Notes and Encore Promotions. With the two plug-ins, store operators can now store sales promotions relating to promotions or giveaways directly in Shopware and play them out automatically in the online store. The plug-ins are based on the current Shopware version 6.
In the current version 6 of the shop system Shopware it was not possible so far to reflect sales promotions on actions or bonuses in the online store. Therefore apollon implemented special plug-ins on customer request and now offers two Shopware extensions to close the current gap in Shopware 6. Reference customer is the HELLMUT RUCK GmbH with their new online store „peclavus“. As soon as a customer of HELLMUT RUCK GmbH selects one of the two sales promotions or both in the peclavus store, the promotions or additions are taken into account in the respective shopping cart. The plug-ins are implemented in such a way that they are triggered directly from Shopware 6 and do not require any programming knowledge on the part of the user. Since the structure of the plug-ins is designed dynamically, the store operators also have other possibilities for promotion with the two solutions from apollon.
Plug-In: Promotions
With the plug-in „Promotions“ it is now possible for store operators to point out special promotions in their online store. This can include seasonal promotions (winter sales, etc.) as well as general promotions such as „free shipping“. The store operator enters, after setting up the plug-in „Promotions“, the desired action and the period directly in the user interface of Shopware 6. After activation, the respective action appears in the own online store, depending on the corporate design. Likewise, actions can be planned in advance and stored in Shopware with a publication date.
Plug-In: Encore Promotions
With the plug-in „Encore promotions“, store operators can provide selected items with free gifts. Bonuses can include free products or free additions. If free gifts are factor-dependent, this is also taken into account in the customer’s shopping cart. In this way, the number of free gifts increases with the customer’s purchase volume.
„With the two new plug-ins, store operators can offer their customers real added value. Not only are loyal customers rewarded with promotions, customers also become aware of new items through free additions. The sales promotions are easily set up in Shopware 6. They are not only quickly implemented, they also increase the attractiveness of the online store and at the same time give store operators the opportunity to react to events in an uncomplicated manner in order to fully exploit the sales potential. And since the two plug-ins are standardized, any store owner with Shopware 6 can get started with our solutions right away. Costly individual developments, as there is currently no comparable promotion solution for Shopware 6 on the market, are no longer necessary with our two plug-ins,“ says Norbert Weckerle, CEO at apollon.
