apollon is again winner of the German Innovation Award

V-Messe receives award in the category #W2 Excellence in Business to Business - Information Technologies | Functional Software

apollon, leading software provider for marketing automation and product data communication, was awarded the German Innovation Award Winner 2021 for its software solution „V-Messe“. The novel event platform convinced the jury for its outstanding innovation performance. The decisive factor for the German Design Council was the high degree of interaction between trade fair participants in a virtual 3D world.

V-Messe

After apollon was awarded the German Innovation Award last year for the relaunch of its omnichannel marketing solution „Online Media Net“, the software company also submitted another new development in 2021 and was approved for the competition with the V-Messe.

V-Messe is a software solution specifically for event managers that was launched in 2020. It supports companies in the implementation of virtual events. The focus of V-Messe is on the realistic mapping of a physical event as well as enabling virtual interpersonal interactions. Thus, a 3D world is recreated according to the specifications of the respective customer and the participants of the event can move freely in the artificial-real environment. Analogous to a real trade show, it is possible to visit various booths or participate in presentations. At the same time, and this is the big differentiator from other solutions, the participants can exchange information with other participants or with the trade fair staff at any time. Since the event is held in a virtual environment, the organizer has all the digital benefits at his disposal. This includes extensive reporting options but also the full presentation of exhibits, as space and budget are no longer limits, just like at classic trade shows. Participants also benefit from virtuality, as they do not have to incur travel expenses and can access the trade fair again after it has ended. The first customer of V-Messe is the machine manufacturer „HELLER“ with the trade fair „V-CON“, which was held in November 2020.

In addition Tobias Marks, CCO of apollon: „Already in 2020 our innovation was appreciated for the new version of Online Media Net. I am very pleased that we are again among the winners of the German Innovation Awards in 2021. This proves once again our vision to develop future-proof technologies. My balance: apollon has won two innovation awards with OMN5 and V-Messe. But we are not standing still and are already working on the next innovation. Maybe next year we will manage to receive the coveted award again and celebrate a triple.“

German Innovation Award

Every year, the German Design Council presents the German Innovation Award in two competition categories: „Excellence in Business to Consumer“ and „Excellence in Business to Business“ as well as in the special category „Design Thinking“. The evaluation criteria include features such as future viability, user benefits, innovation strategy, economic viability, market maturity, technical quality and function. The jury is made up of experts from industry, science, institutions and the financial sector who decide on admission to the competition. This ensures the independence and excellence of the award.
