For Koelnmesse, one of the world’s leading trade fair organisers, central data storage is the basis for efficient coordination and production of diverse communication objects in a wide variety of languages and on various platforms. One of the challenges is the structured administration and needs-based provision of all media and document data from around 75 trade fairs. In order to harmonise the various communication objects and the systems involved in the creation process, such as a translation memory system and Web-to-Print, Koelnmesse requires a clear data structure and central data storage. Online Media Net (OMN) is the tool for this.
