9th Online Media Net Innovation Day [digital]
apollon, leading software provider for marketing automation and product data communication, is already entering the ninth round of the now well-known OMN Innovation Day on September 23. Decision makers from retail and industry are cordially invited to experience the exclusive event around omnichannel marketing virtually on screen. This year’s motto is „Omnichannel unplugged: Megatrends in e-commerce“. A special highlight is the moderation of the OMN Innovation Day by long-time companion Martin Groß-Albenhausen, Managing Director at bevh.
In a compact online session from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., participants of the 9th OMN Innovation Day [digital] can expect theoretical and practical presentations on the megatrends in e-commerce. The megatrends include topics such as connectivity via omnichanneling and artificial intelligence (AI), individualization via hyperpersonalization, and neo-ecology through zero waste.
The omnichannel marketing event starts with a short introduction by Martin Groß-Albenhausen and apollon CEO Norbert Weckerle. They are followed by Dr. Tu-Lam Pham, better known as Teo Pham, with his keynote. The expert for digital business models, e-commerce, online marketing and social media will highlight the digital trends under the aspect „What we can learn from China, influencers and Generation Z“. Following this, various best-practice examples will be presented. The Leitermann company, a DIY, specialist and garden market with a company history that now goes back 150 years, will kick off the event. Managing Director Stephan Lichtenstein will personally present the challenging e-commerce expansion at Leitermann – from local to global. His presentation will be followed by Simon Frenz, Managing Director at Hanse Reprozentrum GmbH and group member of the M+M Group, and Christian Bodem, Director Professional Services online + mobile at apollon. The group duo will present production portals as process accelerators and give a „splashy“ look behind the scenes at the world-famous spirits manufacturer Bacardi.
In the afternoon, the next duo takes over: Tobias Marks, CCO at apollon, and Pablo Kern, Senior Success Director at apollon. The well-rehearsed team is on the track of the trend topic sustainability and presents on the basis of concrete use cases how even a PIM system can effectively contribute to sustainability. After a short energy boost Stefan Witt will take over. The General Manager and authorized signatory at WAS Germany, the leading supplier of hotel and kitchen equipment, will present why good service has its roots in the right company and data management. Norbert Weckerle, CEO at apollon, will take over directly afterwards. In his presentation „Roadmap 2021/2022“, Weckerle will present the planned developments of Online Media Net (OMN). Last but not least, the keynote speech by Dr. Anastassia Lauterbach will close the event. The well-known entrepreneur and professor, who has already made a name for herself with many renowned companies, will devote her talk entirely to the megatrend „Artificial Intelligence“ and provide evidence of myth and truth in this context. At the end of the event, there will be plenty of time for participants to exchange personal views with the respective speakers in a chat.
